Contrary to previous reports, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson will be taking someone else other than Ciara to the wildly popular annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
The Seattle Seahawks signal caller has been linked to the Atlanta-based singer in recent weeks, especially after the two were seen taking in a Seattle Mariners game
together.
What caused further confusion is that the two were reportedly listed on the AOL’s Correspondents Dinner this weekend.
However, according to his Facebook post, Wilson says he’s taking his grandmother.
“Can’t WAIT to dance with my beautiful date at the WHCD this weekend! #shesgotmoves #loveugrandma,” he posted.
This should serve as a good sign for Cici — a man who loves his grandmother.

The potential couple have been hanging out for a weeks now and were first spotted together at NBC’s I Can Do That wrap party on April 10. “They were cozy in a booth together at the party,” an eyewitness tells Us of the singer and NFL pro.
Nine days later, Ciara, who was previously engaged to rapper Future, took in a Seattle Mariners GAME with Wilson.
Although all signs point to a relationship — E! News was first to report they’re dating — another source close to Ciara maintains that she’s single.
