Rupert Murdoch on All-White ‘Exodus’ Film: All Egyptians Are ‘White’

Billionaire business baron Rupert Murdoch tried to defend the racial composite of the upcoming movie Exodus: Gods and Kings.
The film, which is being distributed by Murdoch’s 20th Century Fox, features Christian Bale as Moses, Aaron Paul as Joshua and Sigourney Weaver as Tuya. The Ridley Scott=directed film has been blasted for being based in Africa, more specifically in Egypt, yet lack any diversity whatsoever, except for a few blacks as slaves.
Murdoch, owner of one of the largest media conglomerates in the world, tried to explain the reasoning behind the decision for the all-white cast.

Wrong move, Murdoch. That flippant quip ignited a thundershower of criticism that rained down on Murdoch until he was compelled to mop up after himself. Well, sort of.
