Bulls lose 4th straight at home
It was a vintage D. Wade performance in his backyard. He hit a clutch jumper with 22 seconds left to give Miami an 89-84 win over the Bulls who were coming off of a big win in Cleveland over the Cavaliers. Wade finished with 28 pts 7 rebs and 5 ast. “Wade was tough in iso situations which led to open shots for Bosh,” said Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg. (Bosh finished with 18 pts and 7 rebs)
Derrick Rose left the game due to right hamstring/lower back soreness and will be re-evaluated in the morning. Â The Bulls continue to lack discipline defensively and never seem to execute and finish the job. Pau Gasol (19 pts 17 rebs) and Jimmy Butler (13 pts 6 rebs) got caught up in what Butler simply calls “miscommunication.” Â Wade drove and both Gasol and Butler stayed with Wade as he hit Bosh for a wide open jumper to take the lead before Wade took it home.
Tony Snell and Doug McDermott continue to struggle as they shot a combined 5 for 21 and look lost defensively. Â The Bulls will need much more from Bobby #KeepBPFree Portis, Niko Mirotic and Aaron Brooks as they start a 7 game road trip Thursday in LA versus the Lakers.
