ROBBINS MAYOR TO WELCOME HUNDREDS OF SOUTHERN COOK COUNTY RESIDENTS TO THE FIRST SOUTHLAND CORONAVIRUS TOWNHALL MEETING

Robbins Mayor Tyrone Ward- will host a Southern Cook County Regional Coronavirus Townhall meeting that will offer a wide range of vital information southern Cook County residents who are yet still uninformed about the entire scope of the virus. Residents will be allowed to ask as many question as they desire.

“I really feel that in as much as the television networks and newspapers have offered so much attention concerning this dangerous virus; nothing beats having residents ask questions to experts who have firsthand knowledge of how to educate the public.” says Mayor Ward.

Hundreds are expected in attendance throughout Southern Cook County. Mayors from across the region have participated in conference calls to ensure that their respective residents have an opportunity to attend.

Cook County Public Health Chief Operating Officer, Dr. Terry Mason will lead a small contingent of healthcare professionals who will offer imperative information on prevention, treatment and precautions of dealing with the Coronavirus.
