Robbins CalPark Eagle Cheerleaders Compete for Nationals in Florida

Robbins CalPark Eagles Varsity and Junior Pee Wee Cheerleaders are heading to Orlando, FL to compete in the Pop Warner National Competitions. The Varsity Team won 1st place State and Regional Champions. The Junior Pee Wee Team won 2nd place in Sideline Cheers. Founded in 1983, the Robbins CalPark Eagles is the longest continual youth organization in the history of Robbins, IL. The mission is to teach, mentor, and provide the youth with an opportunity to learn sportsmanship and fair play through cheering and football. The young ladies on the cheerleading teams are all honor roll students.

Brionna Cartman, Varsity Head Coach, says the young ladies are excited competing in Nationals. “The girls worked all season just to get the opportunity to compete at Nationals. We are so happy to represent and put the City of Robbins on the map,” says Cartman. Village of Robbins Mayor, Darren Bryant, is extremely proud of the young ladies as they represent the City of Robbins on the national level. “What our ladies are achieving is remarkable; it shows the talent which lies within our community. The light to our future beyond me is found in them. Congratulations to the State and Regional champions, the Robbins Eagles Cheerleaders,” says Mayor Bryant.

The Robbins CalPark Eagles Varsity and Junior Pee Wee Cheerleaders will be competing Monday, December 6th, and Wednesday, December 8th at the Orange County Convention Center. Click here to watch the competition live stream.
