This past weekend, “Real Housewives of Atlanta” mainstay Kandi Burruss facilitated the Kandi Cares’ “A Baby’s First Baby Shower” event for 10 single expecting mothers or mothers with children less than 3 months old.
Burruss partnered with Cakes by Tatyana, Black Celeb Giving, The Mark Venue and Express Smile Atlanta to provide the mothers with bottles, diapers, wipes, high chairs and $500.00 cash on behalf of Kandi Cares.
Along with Burruss, attendees included Todd Tucker, Chanita Foster, Director of Kandi Cares, Jasmine Crowe, Black Celeb Giving, Kaela Tucker, DonJuan Clark (General Manager of Kandi Koated Entertainment), Joyce Jones (Kandi’s Mother), DJ Yung Kendro, Tammi Pha and more.
Kandi and her dedicated team provided engaging games, savory food and plenty of emotional moments were exchanged as she led the discussion about their shared experience as single parents, and that it takes more than finances to be a good parent. She also talked about the importance of her foundation and why she launched it.
