The Rev. Jesse Jackson is advocating for lower interest rates on student loans. The Chicago civil rights leader is giving a speech on the issue Monday during the annual conference of his Rainbow/PUSH Coalition. He says if banks are beneficiaries of bailout funds and can borrow money at lower interest rates, students should get the same deal. The five-day conference runs through Wednesday. Civil rights leaders from around the country, including NAACP President Ben Jealous are attending.
