On Thursday, the Independent Police Review Authority posted two cases from 2007 that ruled officers justified in shooting two people on separate occasions, one fatally.
A man was shot by police during a robbery call; and a woman who brandished a shotgun and fired several times at officers, injuring three of them, was fatally shot by police during the incident.
The reports detail officer and witness accounts of the incidents, but names are not divulged.
“IPRA remains committed to the process of increasing transparency,” said Ilana Rosenzweig, the agency’s chief administrator.
Last year, the agency started its first step towards making more information available to the public by providing online abstracts of complete, sustained investigations.
