Fox Ford Lincoln Chicago employees are helping The Greater Chicago Food Bank and the The Bud Billiken Scholarship Fund through a charity drive.
“Fox Motors has a long history of community involvement,” said Fox Ford spokeswoman Marilyn Scholten. “With a vision statement of ‘Working together moving people throughout life,’  we here at Fox Ford Lincoln Chicago come into our jobs with excitement and hope that not only can we make an honest living, but there is also something we can all do for the greater good of others. ”
She said that one in six people in Cook County don’t have enough food.
They are inviting everyone to visit their showroom between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, through Aug. 23. People are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item to 2401 S. Michigan Ave. They are located at the corner of 24th and Michigan. Those who bring donations will receive a hard cover, first print, limited edition of the children’s book “Do Pigeons Like Dog Food?” There are only 200 copies available.
