Quinn set to visit Quincy

QUINCY — Gov. Pat Quinn is headed to west central Illinois to dedicate a $295 million highway project.

QUINCY — Gov. Pat Quinn is headed to west central Illinois to dedicate a $295 million highway project. Quinn will be in Quincy Tuesday morning to dedicate Illinois 336 along with state and local officials. The Illinois Department of Transportation says 60 miles of the four-lane highway between Quincy and Macomb was completely opened to traffic in October 2008. Quinn is expected to attend the dedication at the Clat Adams Bicentennial Park with local state representatives and Quincy Mayor John Spring. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press.
