Chicago Public Schools will hold its public budget meetings this week. Parents and members of the community can attend and will have the opportunity to register for a 2-minute speaking slot.
Capital budget hearings will take place in three locations: National Teachers Academy (55 W. Cermak Rd.), Bridge Elementary (3800 N. New England Ave.), and Kennedy High School (6325 W. 56th St.) on Wednesday, Aug. 17. from 6:00 p.m. – 8 p.m. Registration is 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The Truth-in-Taxation hearing will be held at Chicago Public Schools, 42 W. Madison St., Chicago IL 60602, on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Registration is 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Budget hearings will also take place at Chicago Public Schools. The meetings will be on Friday, Aug. 19 at two separate time slots. The morning meeting will be 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with registration from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. The afternoon meeting will be 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. with registration from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
