Project Osmosis is currently accepting submissions for its All High School Design Competition until Sept. 19.
The organization creates programs and design education initiatives for youth in the applied arts, and the annual competition is one of its flagship programs. Students throughout the Chicagoland area can submit their designs for a chance to win a MacBook Pro, iPad, or $150 scholarship award. Winning designs are also showcased at the Osmosis annual benefit to some of Chicago’s premiere design schools, educators, firms, and professionals. Past participants later pursued design-related careers.
“The All High School Design Competition is our way to give young designers of color the opportunity to shine brightly for the world to see,” Osmosis executive director, Vernon Lockhart said.
Students can enter design concepts from the following design disciplines: Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Interior Design, Multi-Media Design, Fashion Design, Architecture, Urban Design, App Design. Visit www.projectosmosis.org to download the official application and rules for the competition. For more information, please contact Emory Brown, marketing director, at emoryb@projectosmosis.org.
