The championship game will take place Sunday at Keating Hall on the campus of the Illinois Institute of Technology. The hottest team in the Pro-Am play-offs thus far has been the Eight Foundation led by NBA all-stars Antoine Walker and Shawn Marion. “Each year, our tournament gets bigger and better and more exciting,” said Pro-Am president Bill Jones. “This year’s play-offs have been the best in recent memory of the Pro-Am.” “We expect an exciting title game,” Jones said. In play-off action Sunday, Leak and Sons wiped out a 12-point deficit early in the fourth quarter to defeat JPMX Media, 108-106. Leading the way for Leak and Sons was Tony Bennett, who scored a play-off high 59 points. Will Bynum had 51 for JPMX Media. In another play-off contest Sunday, Antoine Walker pumped in 29 points to lead Eight Foundation to a 103-100 win over Showtime. Otheus Brown had 27 points for the Eight Foundation while Quinnel Brown had 30 and Armond Williams posted 21 for Showtime. Semi-final action will take place Saturday at 6 p.m., with the title game Sunday at 3 p.m. The Pro-Am games is an annual event that teams professional and amateur basketball players together.
