President Obama speaks on horrific Paris terrorist attacks

UPDATE: Multiple coordinated explosions and shootings carried out simultaneously and concurrently have claimed more thanĀ 158 lives throughout the French capital city Paris, according to French media and police. French President Francois Hollande confirmed that at least 100 were killed in a performance hall in the center of town after suicide bombers set off explosions while gunman opened fire.Ā 
The Associated Press stated about a dozen of citizens were killed by gunmen and explosion in a Paris restaurant in the 10th arrondissement.
Moreover, the French media is reporting that terrorists have taken at least 100 people hostage at the Bataclan concert venue in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. So far 15 have beenĀ reportedly killed.
France was already in a heightened sense of security in advance of theĀ major global climate conference that starts in two weeks.
As of this reporting, no one has come forward to claimĀ responsibility for Fridayā€™s attacks.
President Obama has addressed the world from the White House aboutĀ ā€œheartbreaking situationā€ in France.
ā€œParis itself represents the timeless values of human progress,ā€ Obama told reporters. ā€œThose that think they can terrorize the people of France or the values they stand for, are wrong.ā€
