A pregnant 17-year-old girl was fatally shot in Chicago’s south suburbs on Christmas night, but doctors successfully saved the girl’s unborn baby daughter.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Eva Casara of Chicago was found gunned down in the snow between two homes about 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of East 152nd Street in Dolton, Ill. She had been shot once in the back of the head.
