Chicago police have not located the mother who left her seven children home alone. The children, ages 1 to 12, were found in a home in the 6400 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue Sunday after police received a call at about 11:30 a.m. that the children had no supervision, according to police. It is unclear how long the children had been home alone.
