Chicago police are warning people around Gwendolyn Brooks College Prep Academy to be on alert because students are being robbed at gunpoint.
Three separate incidents occurred last week before and after school hours near 111th-St and King Dr.
In each, students say three male offenders displayed a handgun and demanded money and other property.
The suspects appeared to be in their late teens, with short dreadlocks and they wore black face masks.
