According to CNN, a plane crashed off the coast of Jamaica Friday. It had been unresponsive since 10 a.m. ET. The small seven passenger plane was heading south across the United States. It had left New York, and its final destination was Naples, Florida, Reuters reported. The news organization said a spokeswoman for the Federal Aviation Administration said the plane was flying at an altitude of 25,000 feet (7,620 meters) southbound over the Atlantic Ocean.
F-15 pilots had been tracking the plane and saw the pilot “slumped over,” CNN reported. The number of people on board hasn’t been confirmed yet.
