Pippen, Grant and Longley to Set the Record Straight with ‘No Bull’ Tour

As it turns out, “The Last Dance” isn’t the last dance for the acclaimed sports docu-series on the Chicago Bulls dynasty and the drama that resulted from it.

Four years later, Michael Jordan’s teammates Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant and Luc Longley are telling their side of the story. They are teaming up with Australia’s National Basketball League for a tour called — wait for it — “No Bull.”

It’s their way of correcting what they say was omitted from the 10-part series on ESPN in 2020, at the height of the pandemic.

Pippen, the most accomplished of Michael’s teammates, took issue with the documentary, which he expressed in his memoir “Unguarded” back in 2021.

Pippen wrote that “The Last Dance” had “glorified Michael Jordan while not giving nearly enough praise to me and my proud teammates.”

He blamed Jordan for the oversight, citing that “The Last Dance” producers granted him editorial control of the final product.

Grant expressed his disdain for Jordan and the documentary almost immediately after it aired. His main issue was with a claim from the documentary that he leaked damaging info about the all-time NBA great to writer Sam Smith for the groundbreaking sports tome “The Jordan Rules.”

“Lie, lie, lie. … If MJ had a grudge with me, let’s settle this like men,” he said in an interview with a Chicago sports radio show. “Let’s talk about it. Or we can settle it another way. But yet, and still, he goes out and puts this lie out that I was the source behind [the book].”

In the aftermath of the series, some observers took issue with Luc Longley’s apparent omission from the documentary, given that he was an important role player for the Bulls during those 1996-98 championship runs.

Either way, the “No Bull” tour will reportedly begin on Feb. 23 in Tasmania and then head to Melbourne and Sydney in Australia.

No word yet on if it is coming stateside, namely Chicago. That would be nice — or not.
