The winners of the Peabody awards were announced on Wednesday, and “Key & Peele,” “Orange Is the New Black,” “Scandal,” “The Returned” and documentaries from HBO, PBS, ESPN and Frontline were among the 46 winners.
It’s rare for a scripted series to win more than one Peabody Award in the course of its run, but AMC’s “Breaking Bad” will receive a second award at the ceremony that will take place in New York on May 19.
In the entertainment realm, other winners include “Borgen,” “The Bridge,” “Broadchurch,” “A Chef’s Life,” “House of Cards,” “Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown,” “Orphan Black,” and “The Story of Film.”
