Police say a pregnant woman has been struck and killed by a private snow plow in New York City.
And her baby was in critical but stable condition after an emergency C-section.
Police say the accident happened around 10:45 a.m. Thursday on a commercial parking lot in Brooklyn’s Bay Ridge neighborhood. They say the 36-year-old woman was hit by a vehicle with a snow plow attached to the front.
She was pronounced dead at Maimonides (my-MAHN’-uh-deez) Medical Center.
The woman’s name was not immediately released.
