NeNe Leakes has beef with Wendy Williams. And she isn’t afraid to air the talk show host out.The kicker is the whole thing is over a Hermès Birkin handbag.
According to UsMagazine.com, Leakes’ beef resulted after Williams commented on a picture the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star posted on her Instagram account of a customized Birkin bag. A caption with the photo, which was posted last week, said, “”#personalized #birkin #neneisms #hermès custom by me & my husband had a fit.”
The bag in question included “NeNe-isms” on it, such as “I’m a very rich bitch” and “close your legs to married men!”
Apparently Williams was not as impressed with the item as she took to Twitter to voice how she felt.
“Hot Question: What do think about @NeNeLeakes defacing her Birkin bag?” the former radio personality asked her Twitter followers on Tuesday (July 22) in addition to posting a picture of Leakes carrying the purse with her catchphrases written on it.
From there it was on as Leakes went in without hesitation on Williams on her Twitter account. “Don’t come 4 me WENDELL,” tweeted the reality TV fixture, who shared a link to a post in which she tells Williams to “be scared.”
“Wendy I am sure people think that I’ve done something to you, maybe we had a beef or I slept with your man but none of that is true!” Leakes said while acknowledging how unaware she was of why Williams has issues with her. “I’ve actually only been nice to you! I gave you a beautiful black $3,200 Celine Phantom Bag to celebrate your 500th show but you haven’t spoken of that! But what you have chosen to do is constantly speak negative of me and lie on me! What you need to do is stop spewing hate.”
Before she signed off, Leakes fired another shot at Williams with calling her “the lowest of the low.” To cap it off, Leakes served up some food for thought as she suggested she could replace Williams on her daytime talk show.
“I am sure you’re scared I will take your place (I know you have heard! Ummhmm wink wink) BE SCARED! I have a clothing line on HSN coming out in a few days and I know it must be hard for a black woman to support another black woman but you should try it sometime,” she stated.
“PS: My Birkin is being turned into a work of art to raise money for a worthy charity something you fail to mention on your show!” Leakes added. “I don’t have one Birkin I have five now run tell that WIG,” she concluded her heated post.
Interestingly, as of this posting, Williams had not yet responded. But, whether directly or indirectly, it’s coming. Get ready.
