Ne-Yo may have ended his business relationship with his ex-manager Kevin Foster, but the singer has one last request. Bring him his money.The Daily News reports Ne-Yo has is suing Foster for $8 million. According to the lawsuit, which was filed in Manhattan federal court, the entertainer seeks $4.5 million plus $3.5 million in fees that he says he paid Foster.
Foster, who began handling Ne-Yo’s finances in 2005, moved some of the singer’s money without permission, the lawsuit noted. In addition, the suit alleges that Foster faked Ne-Yo’s name on loan documents and invested the “Miss Independent” singer’s money in a water company that was teetering on the edge of bankruptcy.
According to the Daily News, a phone number for Foster’s firm was out of service.
