(Hollywood) – October 20, 2014 – ‘NCIS’ executive producer Charles Floyd Johnson appeared today on ActorsE Chat with host Ron Brewington.
Johnson, who started producing television programs over 30 years ago, talked about the remarkable journey that he took to become successful in the industry. This included his first job working in the mail room at Universal Studios to his present position as the executive producer of ‘NCIS,’ one of the top television programs across the nation.
This past summer, ‘NCIS’ received the acclaimed “Golden Nymph Award” as the number one most watched drama in the world.
Johnson, has produced numerous television programs over the years: ‘The Rockford Files’ (1975); ‘Black Sheep Squadron’ (1976); ‘Bret Maverick’ (1981); ‘Magnum P.I.’ (1983); ‘B.L. Stryker’ (1988); “Quantum Leap’ (1993); ‘JAG’ (1996 – 2005) and ‘NCIS’ (2003 – present).
He has also produced feature films, including ‘Red Tails’ (2012), the story about the Tuskegee Airmen fighter pilots of WWII fame.
