COLUMBUS, Ohio — Nationwide Insurance has reached a $6 million settlement in a lawsuit that accused the company of overcharging some customers. The class-action lawsuit accused Columbus-based Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. of charging too much for certain term life-insurance policies issued between 1990 and 2006. The settlement could affect as many as 200,000 people who are being notified about the deal. Nationwide spokesman Dan Orzano says both sides have agreed not to talk about the settlement. The details will be finalized in a Franklin County court hearing in early June. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
