The Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago (MSI) will reopen to the public on March 7 with the highly anticipated exhibition Marvel: Universe of Super-Heroes, now extended through October 24. MSI members will get exclusive first access during Member Days March 4-6.
Marvel celebrates more than 80 years of the Marvel Universe and features more than 300 artifacts including some of Marvel’s most iconic costumes, props, and original art. Guests will follow the story of Marvel and its influence on visual culture while uncovering the narratives of characters and gaining insight into how Marvel has impacted and drawn inspiration from the ever-changing tides of popular culture.
Tickets will be available for purchase starting Wednesday, January 27.
MSI will be open Wednesdays through Sundays, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Guests must reserve a timed-entry ticket in advance of their visit at msichicago.org. Tickets will be delivered via email for no-contact entry scanning on mobile phones.
MSI will continue to follow rigorous safety procedures to ensure guests and staff remain safe. Daily capacity is limited, and timed admission tickets and physical distancing measures will reduce crowding. Face coverings are required for all staff and guests ages 2 and older.
Marvel: Universe of Super-Heroes is an exhibition by SC Exhibitions, Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), and Marvel Themed Entertainment. Marvel: Universe of Super-Heroes is presented by BMO Harris Bank and will be at MSI from March through October 24, 2021.
