Media blasted for calling white female drug kingpin ‘adorable’

The headlines got ridiculous regarding Sarah Furay, the 19-year-old Blinn College student whose cheesing mugshot went viral after her arrest on drug charges. Tragically and pathetically, the media dubbed the drug kingpin “adorable” and made sure to mention she was “on the dean’s list.”
This is a far different scenario than the blue-eye “sexy felon” Jeremy Meeks, who’s mugshot went viral last year after it was published on a California police department’s website. In that case, ordinary citizens dubbed Meeks “gorgeous” and “sexy” and the media simply reported on a unique cultural phenomenon. In Furay’s case, the media seemed unable to help themselves in marveling over Furay’s comely looks.
Furay was arrested Nov. 6 on charges of drug possession after police served a search warrant at her College Station apartment. Authorities found 31 grams of cocaine, 126 grams of high-grade marijuana, 29 “ecstasy” tablets, methamphetamine and 60 doses of an LSD-like drug in her bedroom, according to the College Station Police Department.     media2
Now, news media are reporting that Furay is the daughter of Bill Furay, a U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration agent. The agency on Thursday confirmed that Bill Furay has worked for the DEA for more than 20 years and is now a supervisory special agent in the Houston division. He was recently assigned to Panama.
In an emailed statement, the DEA said, “With regard to Agent Furay’s adult daughter, Sarah Furay, she was arrested recently in College Station, TX on charges related to drug trafficking. The College Station Police Department is handling all investigative matters related to the charges.”
How adorable is this girl now?

Of course, this screams of white privilege, that the mainstream media is in disbelief that a woman of such beauty could possibly be a drug boss who faces up to 200 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Twitter tore the media apart for their hypocrisy and double-standard.
