The Cook County medical examiner’s office confirmed that a Chicago couple who were shot at a downtown Old Navy store died in a murder-suicide.

Autopsy reports say 22-year-old Tranesha Palms died of multiple gunshot wounds. Her cause of death is listed as homicide.

The cause of death for her 27-year-old live-in boyfriend, Eugene Robertson, is listed as suicide. He died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Palms worked at the Old Navy downtown on bustling State Street.

The couple’s bodies were found in an employee-only area of the store’s basement on Friday morning. No other injuries were reported.

Company officials say counseling was offered to employees.
