MaToya S. Marsh, an impactul educational leader with 20+ years of excelling in under-resourced settings. A proud graduate of Chicago Public Schools and Chicago State University(CSU),she earned acclaim as the 2008 CPS DRIVE Teacher of the Year during her tenure as an English teacher. In 2010 she received her MA in School Counseling.

Returning to CSU, MaToya assumed influential roles, including Director of Student Activities & Leadership and Director of First Year Experience, shaping campus culture during the Illinois Budget Impasse. Currently, she serves as School Counselor at Simpson Academy for Young Women, focusing on parenting teens.

Recognized by the Black Women Professionals League and CSU’s Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame, MaToya is an active board member of the Chicago State University Alumni Association and Navy Pier’s Associate Board. Engaged in community service, she’s a charter member of the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.

MaToya owns AllMaeBe content development company featuring, “Culture Klash” podcast and & ”Outside With Mae” influencer series. Education or entertainment, MaToya S. Marsh strives to have a positive impact on all she encounters.
