Chicago White Sox bench coach Mark Parent didn’t get to sit on the bench for their game against the Texas Rangers on Sunday. While exchanging lineup cards, he had some words with umpire Jerry Layne and got ejected before the game started.

“Yeah, it was just something from last night. It’s over, and [you] play,” White Sox manager Robin Ventura said after the game, via Scott Merkin of MLB.com.
