Man charged in hunting knife attack on Chicago bus

CHICAGO (AP) – Police in Chicago have arrested a man accused of slashing another man in the face with a large hunting knife during an argument on a public city bus.
According to a Police Department news release Saturday, 54-year-old Kevin Lee of Chicago has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
The attack on the 36-year-old man occurred around 7:40 p.m. Wednesday on a Chicago Transit Authority bus in the South Side Chatham neighborhood. No information was released on the victim’s condition.
Lee was to appear in bond court Saturday. It was not immediately clear if he already had an attorney.
