Lil Wayne lit up the stage with his performance of his hit “A Milli” at the 2025 BET Awards.

On Monday (June 9), Lil Wayne took the stage during Culture’s Biggest Night to perform a mashup of his old and new hits at Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.

Wayne kicked off his performance with lines from “King Carter,” which he recently released on Tha Carter VI, his first solo album in five years. The rapper then recruited a choir of singers dressed in red robes to perform “Welcome to the Carter” off his latest project. Wayne set off the stage, concluding his performance with his smash hit “A Milli.”

Lil Wayne earned three nods at this year’s BET Awards. The rapper hopped on the stage, along with other performers, including GloRilla, Ashanti, Mariah Carey, and more, fresh off the Friday (June 6) release of Tha Carter VI.

The rapper will also be taking over the stage at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One on September 19th and 20th in Las Vegas. Fans can tune in to the music mega event all weekend as it will be broadcast live each night via iHeartMedia radio stations throughout the country across more than 150 markets. Hulu will be the Official Streaming Destination of the festival, with performances livestreamed each night exclusively to all Hulu subscribers.
