Disney Channel Actress Kyla Pratt joined Kwame Steve Cobb and Chavunduka on stage recently at the AFC World Outreach Center for the 15th Annual Harambee Pre-Kwanzaa Festival.
Disney Channel Actress Kyla Pratt (center) joined Kwame Steve Cobb (left) and Chavunduka (right) on stage recently at the AFC World Outreach Center for the 15th Annual Harambee Pre-Kwanzaa Festival. During this musical celebration of family, community and culture, Cobb and Chavunduka, along with 16 other performers in their production, danced and sang songs from their CD, "Seven Principles," before an audience of more than 1,000 Chicago school students. "Seven Principles" is a collection of songs featuring the seven principles of Kwanzaa and is the first complete CD of original songs for Kwanzaa celebrations. The CD Kwanzaa anthem, "It’s Kwanzaa Time," was featured in one of the Kwanzaa episodes of Disney Channel’s animated series, "The Proud Family," with Pratt. Pratt is the voice of Penny Proud on the show and also the star of UPN’s comedy series "One on One."
