In 1931, the nine “Scottsboro Boys” were falsely accused of assaulting two white women in Alabama. The boys were arrested, convicted and sentenced to death in Alabama for a crime that didn’t even occur. Foxx and Haynes Turner join the after-show discussion of how their story relates to juvenile justice today, moderated by Juvenile Justice Initiative executive director Elizabeth Clarke.
Admission to the post-show discussion is free and open to all, subject to availability. More information is available on the Raven Theatre Company website.
