Children receive clothes donated by relief agencies in an internally displaced camp in Limuru town, on the outskirts of the capital city of Nairobi, Kenya earlier this month. The camp is for people who were displaced from their homes during the post-election violence that started late Dec. 2007 and ended two months later. Over 1000 people were killed and over 300,000 others displaced from their homes.

“The lives of most Kenyans are no better today than they were a year ago,” said Ben Rawlence, a researcher at Human Rights Watch. “This is not the new chapter that Kenyans hoped for.”
