The sister of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson says prayer and support from family and friends have helped her go on after the shooting deaths of her mother, brother and son. Julia Hudson spoke with reporters Sunday before she planned to participate in a fashion show in Chicago. She says she had no choice but to go on after the bodies of Darnell Donerson and Jason Hudson were discovered Oct. 24 in their South Side home. The body of her son, 7-year-old Julian King, was found days later in an SUV. Thirty-one-year-old Hudson says support from Jennifer Hudson and others has helped her recover. Julia Hudson’s estranged husband, 27-year-old William Balfour, is charged in the killings. He’s pleaded not guilty.
