Jesse White Brings Office Services to Taste of Chicago

Secretary of State Jesse White is reminding the public that they can renew their driver’s license or state ID card, purchase vehicle license plate stickers, or conduct a number of other transactions at the Secretary of State’s Taste of Chicago booth July 9–13.
“I am please to once again partner with the City of Chicago to provide these serves as a convenience to motorists visiting the Taste of Chicago,” said White in a news release. “People will be able to renew their driver’s license while enjoying the great restaurants and entertainment that the city has to offer.”
White’s office will provide services from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The mobile unit will be located at Grant Park near Columbus Drive and Congress Parkway.
Services provided at the Secretary of State mobile unit include:
-Driver’s License renewal, correction or change of address
-State ID card, renewal, correction or change of address
-Vehicle registration sticker sales
-Vehicle title and registration
-Passenger, B-truck, motorcycle and speciality license plates
-Parking placards for Persons with Disabilities Program
-Pick-a-Plate Program
-Motor Voter registration
Proper documentation is required for all transactions. Acceptable forms of payment include personal checks, cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover credit and debit cards.
