Despite his protestations to the contrary, Carmen Ortega comes forth and claims that she and Jason Derulo were in a brief relationship fling while he was the boyfriend of singer Jordin Sparks.
Derulo, the “Talk Dirty” singer, came to his own defense via Instagram when the rumors swirled furiously that his infidelity was the reason for the breakup with Sparks after three years:
Model Carmen Ortega swipes back at Derulo, claiming in an exclusive Star interview that they met through mutual friends at an L.A. recording studio and almost immediately got busy doing the dirty.
“We dated for a month,” the brunette beauty reveals. “We went out in public with friends a few times, so I assumed he didn’t have a girlfriend.”
Ortega said she shut Derulo down when she learned that he was juggling women and that she was sharing him with the “American Idol” alum.
“I cut ties with him immediately,” she says. “He tried telling me their relationship was strictly fueled by management teams. He lied to me the entire time.”
