Jaden Smith is calling out all the rappers who are better than him to please stand up.
“Dear everybody who can rap better than me. Please show me,” he tweeted.
Smith recently used his sister’s (Willow Smith) Soundcloud account to release a track called “Melancholy” — rapping over a sample of Pink Floyd‘s “Breathe.”
But Smith wasn’t done calling out other rappers on Twitter. He followed up with, “cause I got 2 or 3 albums in stock already” and “just just give me the word.”
Smith — who was named one of Time’s “25 Most Influential Teens” — is signed to Columbia Records, but there’s no confirmation on when or if any of these albums will be released.
But he’s an influential teen for his movies and music. Therefore, he’s sure to be releasing music sooner or later. He plans to release a sequel mixtape, “The Cool Café: The Cool Tape Vol. 2,” but no release date has been announced yet.
In the meantime, it’s back to acting. He’s set to star as a young slave who meets abolitionist John Brown in “The Good Lord Bird.” No filming or release date(s) has been announced so far.
