But before she would bring on Bennett College President Julianne Malveaux, Jackson wowed the crowd with comments about her husband, the Rev. Jesse Jackson.
She remarked how insulted her Rev. Jackson, who ran for U.S. president twice, must have felt when, after Barack Obama won the presidency, the Rev. Jackson was asked by the media if he ever thought he’d see a Black president in office.
