International Men’s Day Celebration Honors Heritage and Community Event to Feature Mayor Johnson and Distinguished Community Leaders

Real Men Charities, in partnership with Chase, Real Men Cook, The Quarry Event Center, South Side Drive Magazine, and A&S Beverages, is honored to host a celebration of International Men’s Day on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at The Quarry Event Center (2423 E. 75th St).

This inspiring evening will bring together community leaders and residents to recognize the achievements of men across generations and cultures, with a special focus on the Haitian, Jamaican, and Palestinian communities.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., welcoming guests to an evening of conversation, connection, and cultural appreciation. Mayor Brandon Johnson will join at 6:00 p.m., underscoring the importance of community unity and honoring male role models who are driving positive change.

Throughout the evening, attendees will hear from key speakers, including Chase’s Jared Evans and Vondale Singleton of CHAMPS Male Mentoring, as they share their insights on leadership, mentorship, and the power of resilience. Additional highlights include Adeeb Borden’s reflections on his travels to France and Dubai and Steve DeJoie’s presentation on the rich history of Haiti.

International Men’s Day offers a unique opportunity to celebrate fatherhood, friendship, and male role models who are making an impact. The event will culminate in dinner and networking, fostering bonds across communities and generations.
