Illinoisans soon will get a better idea of unemployment in their communities. The Illinois Department of Employment Security on Thursday plans to release July jobless rates for the state’s metropolitan areas. Unemployment rose in all 12 Illinois metropolitan areas in June, with the Rockford area highest at 14 percent.
