SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — The reform commission created by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn in the wake of scandals surrounding ousted former Gov. Rod Blagojevich is set to release its final report. The Illinois Reform Commission on Tuesday will present its "100-day Report" to Quinn. Commission chairman and former federal prosecutor Patrick Collins is urging lawmakers to act on its findings. Last month the commission unveiled its tentative recommendations for legislative action, including caps on individual campaign contributions. The commission members include a whistle-blowing hospital CEO, college football coach and a man whose children died in the traffic accident that helped trigger the corruption investigation that sent former Gov. George Ryan to prison. ______ Copyright 2009 Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten, or redistributed.
