Ill. AG: Furniture retailer failed to deliver goods

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has filed suit against a Chicago furniture retailer that she says didn’t deliver purchased merchandise and refused to give people refunds for down payments.

Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan has filed suit against a Chicago furniture retailer that she says didn’t deliver purchased merchandise and refused to give people refunds for down payments.

Madigan’s office on Monday said there have been 54 complaints against Ziyad Suleiman of District Furniture Inc. She says people who filed the complaints have lost a total of $62,000.
