iHeartMedia Chicago Stations Raised Over $861K From Annual ‘Lurie Children’s Radiothon’

iHeartMedia Chicago announced that its “Lurie Children’s Radiothon” raised more than $861,000 in proceeds for patients and families at the Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago.

The “Lurie Children’s Radiothon” was broadcast live on Thursday, Dec. 7 on the following stations from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.: 93.9 LITE FM, ROCK 95 FIVE, 107.5 WGCI, 103.5 KISS FM, V103 and Inspiration 1390.

The on-air personalities of iHeartMedia Chicago enthusiastically urged listeners to contribute by either calling in or making online donations to aid in bolstering research initiatives, offering support to families, and deliver essential care to children within the community.

iHeartMedia Chicago and Lurie Children’s joined forces with various businesses in the Chicagoland community to champion the radiothon. Among the supportive partners were Blue Cross Blue Shield, Canadian Pacific, Castle Auto Group, CH Robinson, Dyson, Garrett Popcorn Shops, Home Run Inn Pizza, Jewel Osco and NRG.

“Since 2020, iHeartMedia Chicago, the Chicagoland community and advertising partners have raised over $2.6 million dollars for the ‘Lurie Children’s Radiothon’,” said Matt Scarano, President of iHeartMedia Chicago. “We have made a long-term commitment to support Lurie Children’s patients, parents and families in our local community through this annual radiothon.”
