Tyrone Staggers

Tyrone Staggers, born and raised in Chicago, IL, was educated in the Chicago Public School system. After which he served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Tyrone went on to receive an Associate degree in Business, a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Master degrees in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, and Ministry of Arts. Tyrone has recently received his Doctor of Ministry degree from Northern Seminary.  

A faithful Servant of God, Tyrone has worked 40 years in The Salvation Army, in Chicago’s Humboldt Park, West Loop, Blue Island, and Uptown Communities. From the pulpit to the prisons, as church administrator to chaplain, Tyrone has shared God’s love to the whosoever, trying to build hope, capacity, and self-sufficiency. “I believe that all lives matter and the opportunity to achieve success.”  

Tyrone is married to Dr. Carmen for 37 years, the proud father of 2 adult children, Tyrone (Periana) and Briana, and grandfather of 3, Kai, Kobe, and Kaz.
