CHICAGO— One person is dead Sunday after being shot near the intersection of 51st and Indiana streets in Fuller Park, and police have two suspects in custody, according to DNAinfo.com.
Police News Affairs Officer Daniel O’Brien said police either witnessed or heard shots fired in the area, and saw two offenders fleeing the scene around 5:10 p.m.
A vehicle chase ensued, and the suspects crashed on the Dan Ryan Expressway. They were taken into custody near 43rd and Indiana streets after crashing their vehicle.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office had no information on the deceased person.
