In the spirit of giving to those less fortunate, the African-American owner-operators of McDonald’s along with the community will serve hot breakfast Tuesday, Nov. 24, to more than 1,000 homeless people from shelters throughout Chicago and Northwest Indiana. The 10th annualá “Food for the Body & Spirit” program will be held from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Apostolic Faith Church, 3823 S. Indiana Ave. Choirs from area churches and gospel songstress Kim Stratton will perform at the event.
