POLICE OFFICER
The Board of Fire & Police Commissioners of Homewood, IL will hold written examinations on 08/24/22 and 08/27/22 to establish an eligibility list for the position of POLICE OFFICER. Starting salary is $63,070.
Qualifications: Applicants must be a US Citizen and/or an alien admitted for permanent residence or lawfully admitted for temporary residence with evidence of intention to become a US Citizen; at least age 21 and not over 35 (unless exempt as provided in 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6); have a minimum of 60 college credit hours earned at a certified college or university (unless current Illinois Certified Police Officer with 2 years of service at current agency); valid driver’s license. Applicants must submit proof of successful completion of the Illinois Peace Officer Wellness Evaluation Report (POWER) test (results must be dated no earlier than 08/27/2021) as part of application.
