When You Need Some Advice Don’t Ask Twice… Ask Dr. Karen!
Dear Dr. Karen:
I recently had sex with a girl from work. We went out several times just for fun. It was nothing serious. Now, she says she is pregnant. I am 22 years old and she is 24.
I made it quite clear that I do not want this baby and I have asked her to get rid of it. I’m too young to start a family. She is not listening to what I have to say. Bottom line she is keeping the baby because she doesn’t believe in abortions.
I can’t believe that she wants to keep a baby that is not wanted. I feel like I was tricked. Is there some way of dealing with this situation so she cannot come to me in the future asking for money?

So, you went out and had sex just for fun and you said you were tricked? Unless, she put a gun to your head you definitely weren’t tricked. You might want to check with her doctor to see if she really is pregnant before you start to panic. Although you think you are too young to start a family if the courts determine you are the father, you will be ordered to pay child support.
I would also suggest calling the Maury show or visiting your nearest drug store to purchase a DNA kit to prove or disprove paternity. And, while you’re there pick up some condoms! Make sure you wear them the next time you just want to have fun.
